Q: Do you do full van conversions?

Yes we do! We combine our standard units to form cosy and inviting spaces, with our signature Contour aesthetic woven into every corner. Visit our Conversions page to find out more.

Q: Can you fit the furniture for me?

Absolutely! We offer a range of fitting services, from one day fits of unfinished units to longer installs of fully oiled and painted units with upholstery, electrics and gas. Give us a call to have a chat about what could work for you.

Q: What tools will I need to install my furniture?

We have tried to make it as simple as possible to assemble and fit, all you need is a drill/driver, jigsaw, sandpaper (or random orbital sander if you have one!) and a paint brush! A set of screwdriver bits including PZ2 and TX20 will also come in handy.

Q: Can I use a different hob or sink in my kitchen?

This might be possible as long as it fits. We are happy to discuss making alternative cut-outs for you.

Q: Do you make bespoke furniture?

Due to the huge amount of time we spend designing and setting up production of our units, we are unable to make bespoke units. Some minor changes, such as swapping drawers for cupboards may be possible.

Q: Will the furniture fit my van straight away?

We make all of our furniture square where it meets the walls, this allows it to be fitted to a much wider range of vehicles and ensures you get a perfect bespoke looking fit. To get a good fit you will need to scribe the curve of walls/wheel arches onto parts of the furniture before cutting with a jigsaw.

Q: What do you use to finish the furniture?

At Contour we like to use Osmo Polyx-oil Clear Satin. It gives excellent protection from moisture and doesn’t crack or blister like varnish.
