Reasons to choose a Contour Conversion:

Eco Materials
We choose the greenest materials we can to reduce the carbon footprint of your van. These include sheep wool insulation, Marmoleum natural flooring, eco paint, plant based furniture oil, European FSC birch plywood

CNC Capabilities
We can add levels of detail and accuracy that other fitters cannot match due to our in house CNC machining capability.

A typical conversion will consist of:
Fitting opening windows to sides of van, with integrated flyscreens
Birch plywood wall panels and door cards with recessed shelving and ambient lighting
Structural marine plywood flooring with either Vinyl or Marmoleum covering, with hundreds of colour and pattern choices.
Thermo-acoustic foam lining, with Thermafleece Cosywool insulation in cavities
Designer Furniture, fitted and finished by the people who designed it.
Bespoke Upholstery & Curtains, made to measure for your exact van, with a huge range of premium fabrics to choose from. We can even help you build your colour palette during a consultation session.
Carpet lining on pillars and window reveals in a colour of your choice, covers scratches and dents if your van had a tough previous life and gives a warmer touch for areas next to seats.
12V electrical system using Victron AGM Super Cycle batteries, Orion DC-DC chargers and Smart Battery Protect to provide reliable power off grid. This powers a combination of ambient and task lighting, Contour laser etched USB sockets, 12V sockets and you can even add a fridge and inverter.
150W Solar Panel with Victron Smart Solar MPPT to extend your battery capacity for longer trips.
Refillable LPG, choose between fixed or portable gas systems: both can use the highly convenient Gaslow direct fill refillable LPG bottles.
How it works
The best way to figure out which units work for you is to call us or book a visit for a consultation, we will listen to how you plan on using your camper, and recommend the layout or unit that will best suit your needs.
Have a list of must have features ready, such as wether you want a fridge, belted seats, which type of hob you want, if any.
We work with other local converters to fit diesel heaters and pop-tops and can arrange this on your behalf.
If you would like a more detailed quote, for assembled or installed furniture we will arrange a phone consultation to talk through the various options available and your timeline for the project.
We will provide an initial quote and a specification and finishes document for you to sign off on. Once all details are agreed we will send an invoice for a £1000 deposit to secure you build slot. 50% of the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the start date, with the remainder due on collection of your new campervan.
We will keep your van for two months so that we have plenty of time to achieve our high standard of finish. We are well located for train links via Oxenholme Station, and we’re just 4 miles from J37 of the M6.
On collection of your campervan, we will talk you through how the furniture works, as well as giving you any maintenance tips. If you have had an electrical system installed, we will advise you on how to operate and look after the system
Guide Prices: £15,000 – £25,000 depending on layout and specification
